Focuscope, Inc has been an integral part of the Chicagoland market research community since 1980. We currently offer two locations, Chicago, IL our cutting-edge facility, 2 blocks from Michigan Ave and Oak Brook, our newest and largest to date.

Management Team

Our decades of experience working with similar nationwide market research companies gives us the ability to manage field projects in ways that you have never seen before.  We will coordinate and manage as little or as much support as needed.  Our experienced team offers national coverage and exceptional knowledge in all the techniques and processes that make market research a vital part of your project’s development.

Kevin Rooney


Kevin Rooney grew up “in the business” as the son of Focuscope founder Ann Rooney. Kevin has been instrumental in raising Focuscope to a key player in the market research field since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is actively involved with the Marketing Research Association (MRA) and First Choice Facilities on local and national levels. On a personal level, Kevin stays involved in the community working with the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. He can also be heard rooting loudly for the Chicago White Sox and Green Bay Packers.

Colleen Rooney

Project Manager

Before joining Focuscope full-time in 2014, Colleen received her Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management from Iowa State University. Colleen enjoys working closely with clients to ensure the success of each project. In her free time, you can find Colleen exploring the newest Chicago restaurants or being active outdoors.

Brian has been working at Focuscope as a Project Manager since receiving his Bachelors of Arts in Marketing and Management from St. Ambrose University. Brian strives to continue learning about the market research industry by staying up-to-date with the newest techniques and technological advancements.

Sarah Barrett

Project Manager

Beginning in the phone room as a teen, Sarah Barrett has been an employee of Focuscope for over 23 years. In her decades of employment for the market research company, Sarah has held a multitude of positions, including recruiter, phone room supervisor, project administrator and project manager. Sarah, as a solution seeker, is not afraid to roll up her sleeves and get the job done for her clients; she especially takes delight in projects that require thought and creativity and strives to provide excellent customer service to each and every project in which she works.

In her free time, Sarah relishes time spent outdoors, is an avid baseball fan and enjoys spending time with her family.

Rhonda Hammad

Project Manager

Rhonda has been working at Focuscope since 2013, she started in client services which provided her with a different perspective on projects before becoming part of the project management team. Rhonda enjoys a challenge and loves outside of the box thinking to get the job done. She received her degree in business management and marketing from Saint Xavier University. In her free time enjoys spending her free time with family or trying the latest Chicago restaurants.

Ryan Patrick

Project Manager

In the Fall of 2020, Ryan joined Focuscope as a technical support manager before transitioning to project management. Ryan enjoys finding creative and strategic solutions for his clients, and he prides himself on going “above and beyond” in order to get the job done right. In his free time, Ryan enjoys hiking along local trails and spending time with his family.
